Meet Janet George, a self-taught quilter from western Tennessee. Growing up, she had no interest in quilting, but learned to sew after her mother tricked her into making her own clothes instead of getting a job after school. Years later, Janet learned how to quilt through lessons offered at her local church and became hooked on the craft.
Janet met her husband, Doug, at church, and little did they know that quilting would change their lives. They started working at quilt shows, and at the Houston show, they bought a Q'nique 14+ longarm quilting machine, which Janet named Esther after her grandmother. Doug made a video assembling the Continuum frame, and it was the start of a YouTube channel that now has over 1,000 followers.
Today, Janet is the proud owner of a Q'nique 21 Pro and has made quilting friends all over the world. She is grateful to the Grace Company for making quilting affordable and for allowing her to live Grace's dream. Janet's journey shows that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.
